Delegation of Campania

The Delegate of the Naples and Campania delegation, Marquise Federica de Gregorio Cattaneo, together with Airc Campania President Roberta Buccino Grimaldi, supported the initiative “Un Uovo per la Ricerca” Airc.

The Knights and Dames of the delegation kindly bought the eggs to support Airc and the research, and then donated all of the them to parish churches with children in need.

Among others, Knights Giovanni Angelo Marciano, Giancarlo Rinaldi, Gennaro Famiglietti, Father Luigi Castiello, Gaetano Locci, Nunzia Sannino, Luigi de Angelis, Antonello Amaddeo, Alessandro Caramiello, Lorenzo degli Innocenti, Emiddio de Francis have generously contributed to the cause.  

Some Knights belonging to the Delegation of Naples and Campania have donated to Nola Caritas and especially to the “Istituto del Fanciullo di Visciano” the following products:

1 – 350 kg. of pasta
2 – 300 kg. of canned tomatoes
3 – 300 lt. of tomato sauce
4 – 100 lt. of olive oil
5 – 100 lt. of sunflower oil
6 – 200 lt. of whole milk
7 – 30 kg of sugar
8 – 50 packets of rusks
9 – 10 Nutella jars
10 – 120 pairs of trainers

A special thank you to Knights Vincenzo Puglia, Felice Marciano, Raffaele Menzione, Giuseppe Pirozzi, Domenico Cuozzo, Comm. Angelo Giovanni Marciano, General Paolo Borrelli and to Dr. Carmine Beneduce, who dressed up as Santa Claus for the whole 22nd December night.

The Delegation of Naples and Campania, represented by the Delegate Donna Federica Cattaneo De Gregorio, participated in the solemn Mass in memorial of King Francis II of Bourbon for his 129° passing Anniversary at the Church of Holy Mary of Victory in Naples.
The celebration, sponsored by the Royal House, was organized by the Foundation Il Giglio and the Neo-Bourbon movement.
Many Knights and Dames attended the ceremony, along with the 1° Reggimento Re Association.

On December 7th 2023, the Delegation of Naples and Campania, on the occasion of the Feast and Sacredness of the Most Holy Mary Immaculate, took part in the solemn pre-holiday Mass in honor of Our Lady Mary Immaculate at the Church of Don Orione, located in Ercolano (Naples) by invitation of Don Orione and prior authorization of the Delegate Donna Federica Cattaneo De Gregorio.
Dame Nunzia Sannino, Knight Luigi De Angelis, Knight Alessandro Caramiello, Knight Antonello Amaddeo and Knight Davide Di Blasi attended. The Mass was celebrated by Father Rosario Belli, general director of Don Orione. The guests of the structure, the theater manager Doctor Ciro Cozzolino and many faithful were present.
For the occasion, Dame Sannino and the Knights present, donated to the Don Orione Institute a large supply of sanitary equipment (360 diapers) and an equally conspicuous supply of stationery products such as crayons in wax, to finger, watercolors, markers, brushes, cards, glue, sharpeners, notebooks and various. The donated material will be used for the 15 children with disabilities who are guests of the institute located in Ercolano and for the upcoming Christmas chores that the same children are preparing to realize. The entire supply was delivered directly to Father Rosario Belli in the presence of the guests.

Pozzuoli, Aeronautical Academy. A bronze medal of Merit was given by the Delegate Donna Federica de Gregorio Cattaneo to a student who stood out for her humanitarian commitment. The delivery took place during the inauguration of the academic year at the Aeronautical Academy of Pozzuoli, in the presence of the highest military posts.
The Head of Statd of the Air Force General Luca Goretti, the Commander of the Academy of Pozzuoli General Casale, the Undersecretary of Defense Hon. Matteo Perego di Premnago, Senator Stefania Craxi, General Caputo, General Mainini, and many others were present, including Knight Giovanni Angelo Marciano.

Solemnity of the Cross. The celebration of the Solemnity of the Cross was held in Naples, at the Basilica of San Francesco di Paola. It was organized by Don Mario Savarese, Vice Prior of the Delegation, with the participation of many Knights.
