On February 16th, the delegation of Campania attended a mass in honour of the dead soldiers of Gaeta, in the suffrage of their souls. The Archbishop of Gaeta blessed the flag of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, in memory of the soldiers who died to defend it. The guard of honour at the royal tombs participated actively in the ceremony. The Archbishop of Gaeta, HRH Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies, the delegate Federica de Gregorio and a large group of knights also participated.
On February 15th, the delegation of Naples and Campania participated in Gaeta in the edition of the “Don Paolo Capobianco” prize, awarded to people who have distinguished themselves for their humanitarian gestures and culture. The Grand Prefect, HRH Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies was rewarded for her immense commitment to charitable activities. Even dr. Luigi di Fiore, journalist and writer, was rewarded for his cultural commitment. The delegation warmly thanks the mayor of Gaeta and especially Mr. Salvatore Lanza, Mr. Gennaro De Crescenzo and Dr. Iadicicco, who were the main organizers of the event. The delegate of Naples and Campania and the adviser to the delegation Giuliano Buccino Grimaldi were also present.
Naples, January 20th, 2020 – The Guard of Honor of the Neapolitan delegation went to the royal tombs of the Bourbon sovereigns and recalled with a mass the figure of King Charles of Bourbon on the occasion of his birthday. These Knights, despite the scaffolding of the restoration of the frescoes in the Bourbon Chapel, as usual, applied their ceremonial without any embarrassment or disruption of the program.
On January 25th H.R.H. Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies collaborated with Airc volunteers through the sale of oranges in order to raise funds for the research.
On December 1st 2019, in the presence of HRH Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Grand Prefect, the investitures of the new knights of our Order took place in Naples at the Pontifical Basilica of San Francesco di Paola. The Prior and Bishop Emeritus of Benevento, Monsignor Andrea Mugione, as well as Princess Beatrice, awarded the new knights and participated in the concert that followed, whose aim was to raise funds. Then, thanks to the hospitality of the Rector of the Basilica, a cocktail reception took place.
