SICILY: DONATIONS CONTINUE IN MONREALE AND IN PIAZZA ARMERINA

On April 8th, H.E. Mgr Michele Pennisi, Archbishop of Monreale and Prior of Sicily, offered many Easter eggs and other food for children at the premises of the church Maria SS degli Agonizzanti. The High Prelate personally distributed these products with the help of the vice delegate and volunteers Lia Giangreco and Sonia Lo Monaco.

The distribution of products, which is part of the project Briciole di Salute, took place on April 9th at the church S. Stefano in Piazza Armerina. Mr. Marco Milazzo gave these products for children to Father Dario Pavone.

Mr. Giuseppe Blasini delivered to the vice delegate 408 homogenized, hand sanitizers and two electronic thermometers. These products will be delivered during the next distributions.

H.R.H. Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Grand Master sent many products to the mission “Speranza e Carità” both for the hygiene of the mission premises and for personal hygiene. On April 6th, the vice-delegate, Mgr Salvatore Grimaldi and Mr. Gregory Dendramis delivered to the mission volunteer Ms. Barbara Occhipinti some products as well as baby food and diapers.

On April 5th the vice delegate and Mr. Gregory Dendramis delivered several kilos of pasta to Mgr Salvatore Grimaldi, parish priest of the Constantinian Basilica La Magione.

SICILY: DONATION IN ENNA AND THE PROJECT “BRICIOLE DI SALUTE” CONTINUES IN ACIREALE

There has been a great collaboration between the AVIS of Enna, the Pergusea Academy and the Sicilian delegation of the Constantinian Order because of the donation of 500 medical shoes and 10 disposable gowns, which will be used at hospital of Enna. Dr. Rita Savoca, head of the resuscitation service at Umberto I Hospital in Enna thanked, on behalf of the entire resuscitation ward, Mr. Matteo Bertino, Enna representative as well as Dr. Giulia Buono and Dr. Nino Gagliano.

As part of the project “Briciole di Salute”, some products were offered – some of them were donated by volunteer Salvatore Ferro Infranca – to Sister Alfonsina, in favour of the Tenda di Cristo association in Acireale, which hosts and supports many needy families. Mr. Antonino Amato and Mr. Putrino delivered food and products to the nuns of the structure.
