Sicily, July 2016 – The Sicilian Delegation is always very active with the program Crumbs for Health. The program was inaugurated in Palermo on July 18 and the first delivery of needed items (diapers, baby food and biscuits) for children of disadvantaged families aged 0 to 3 years took place in the Church of S. Francesco di Paola.
The distribution of baby products continued in the premises next to the Constantinian Church of S. Maria degli Agonizzanti, under the guidance of the Archbishop of Monreale, H.E. Mons. Michele Pennisi, Prior of the Delegation. The delegation also organized a collection of food products, lasting twelve hours, in a shopping center in Milazzo, province of Messina. By the end of the day they had collected 120 liters of milk, approximately 500 kilos of pasta and other food items to be donated to the needy.
