The Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George is governed by the Grand Master, assisted by the Royal Deputation, composed of the Grand Charges: Grand Prefect, Grand Prior, Grand Chancellor and Grand Treasurer, the President, Vice President, Secretary and the Deputies.
The current Grand Master, His Royal Highness Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro and Head of the Royal House, is also assisted by a Magistral Juridical Council, by a Magistral Heraldic Commission.
The Grand Master is the perpetual administrator of the Order, may enact new laws and statutes, as well as appoint the highest institutional charges, to whom is entrusted with the moral, disciplinary and administrative direction of the Order.
The Grand Master is assisted in his decisions by a “Counselor for the Royal House and the Dynastic Orders”, who is appointed by the Grand Master himself and is a person held in the utmost trust.
The Grand Master may appoint the “Secretary General” to whom he confers the necessary authority to guide and coordinate the Chancellery and the Delegations’ activities.
