At the beginning of November, the activities of “Briciole di Salute” project took place in several cities of Sicily, among which Monreale, S. Martino delle Scale, Patti, Carini and S. Cataldo.
Tuesday November 8, H.E. the Most Reverend Monsignor Gualtiero Isacchi received H.R.H. Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Grand Prefect, along with Vice Delegate Noble Antonio di Janni. The Princess explained to the Archibishop the charity activities carried out by the Order in Sicily and all over the world.
At the end of this cordial meeting, in addition to various publications, the Princess presented the Archbishop with a commemorative medal coined on the occasion of the 17th centenary of the Edict of Milan, which was celebrated in Monreale by the Grand Prior His Most Reverend Eminence Cardinal Renato Martino and by His Most Reverend Eminence Monsignor Michele Pennisi, Constantinian Prior of Sicily, in front of Princess Beatrice.
On the same date, a solemn Pontifical was held at the Sanctuary of San Vito, a church entrusted to the Constantinian Order . It was presided over by H.E. the Most Reverend Monsignor Angelo Giurdanella, Bishop of Mazara, who received from H.R.H. Princess Beatrice the certificate of appointment as Knight Grand Cross of Ecclesiastical Grace.
“Briciole di Salute” activities continued in the presence of H.R.H. the Grand Prefect, specifically on 12 November in Noto.
On 13 November, at the conclusion of the three-day celebration in honour of San Martino, Bishop of Tours, a Pontifical Mass was held at the Abbey of San Martino delle Scale, presided over by the Most Reverend Father Roberto Dotta.
