TRIVENETO: CEREMONY IN VENICE

On June 13th and 20th, after receiving an invitation by the Patriarchate of Venice, the Triveneto Delegation participated in the Celebrations of the Sacred Relics of Saint Anthony of Padua back to Venice. With a procession that started from the city of Padua, the statue arrived in Venice by the Grand Canal. H.E. Rev. Msgr. Francesco Moraglia, Patriarch of Venice and Prior Fr. Oliviero of the Basilica of Padua welcomed the statue with the relics at the Basilica Madonna della Salute. In addition to the numerous territorial Civil and Military Authorities, the Triveneto Delegation also participated and was represented by Vice Delegate Lucio Pasqualetto, Prince Giovanni Alliata, Cristiano Patrese, Giovanni Pavan, Gianpaolo Seguso and Maurizio Moffa.

TRIVENETO: DONATION IN GORIZIA

Gorizia, May 9th, 2020 – On the occasion of the feast of Saint George, the representation of the city of Gorizia, headed by Mr. Vanni Feresin, wanted to give a tangible sign of solidarity to families because of the epidemic, through a donation of non-perishable foodstuffs, which was made possible by other donations received from some knights of the delegation. The products were given to volunteers of the Civil Protection Operations Centre, represented by the municipal coordinator Salvatore Gambitta, in the presence of the Representative, Mgr Arnaldo Greco and Mr. Christian Massaro who coordinated the operation.

TRIVENETO: DONATION CEREMONY

On November 19th, the delegation donated “VeinViewer”, a high-tech infrared visualizer, to the pediatric operating unit at the Cà Foncello Hospital in Treviso. It is a tool that will reduce the pain of our little patients. During the donation ceremony, Mrs. Maria Rosaria Laganà, Prefect of Treviso, was present as a guest of honor and was accompanied by the highest civil and military authorities of the territory.

The Vice Delegate Lucio Pasqualetto was accompanied by the representatives for the cities of Venice, Chioggia and Treviso. A lot of attention has been paid by the local media too.

TRIVENETO: HOLY MASS IN LONIGO

Organized by the Representations of Vicenza and Padua, a religious ceremony was held in Lonigo at the convent of the Franciscan Friars, on the anniversary of August 24th, 1942, historic day for Italian chivalry. The Vice Mayor was present at the ceremony, in addition to the organizers representing the Lonigo City Hall. GP Barbano, commander of the COESPU Police School, Alberto Lembo, vice-president of the Nastro Azzurro Association of Vicenza, some representatives of the Association of Lagoons and many friends and volunteers of the Order were also present.

TRIVENETO: FEAST OF THE EXALTATION OF THE HOLY CROSS

The ceremony began at the Scuola Grande San Giovanni Evangelista in Venice with the Professor Bosello’s greetings and the presentation of the program by the Vice Delegate Lucio Pasqualetto, followed by a reflection of Vice Prior Mons. Antonio Meneguolo on the subject: “Religious aspect of the Holy Cross in the Constantinian Order”. Then, in a solemn procession, Knights went to the adjacent Basilica of San Giovanni, where Mons. Angelo Pagnan celebrated the Mass. Many people were present at the ceremony, in addition to several Knights of our Order, the Order of Malta and the Holy Sepulcher and many of the highest figures in the military and civil world. A “Vin d’Honneur” took place after the ceremony.
