MEETING WITH THE CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF

On April 6th, Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, Chief of Defence Staff, received the Duke of Castro for a lunch held at the Armed Forces Officers Club, in the presence of Dr. Giampaolo Grazian, Secretary General of the Order together with Admiral Luca Conti, Head of the General Office of the Chief of Defence Staff.
During the meeting, the various activities organized by the Constantinian Order in favour of the most needy people were described and most of the time these activities were carried out thanks to the prompt support of the Knights and Dames belonging to the Armed Forces.
At the end of the meeting, H.R.H. the Duke of Castro paid tribute to Admiral Cavo Dragone with the two editions of the volume “Chivalry Orders of the Royal House of Bourbon Two Sicilies”, while the Chief of Staff presented the Grand Master with a valuable volume on the Italian participation in the Great War.

On April 4th H.R.H. the Duke of Castro met H.E. Don Guglielmo de’ Giovanni Centelles, XIII Duke of Precacore, Knight Grand Cross of Grace of the Constantinian Order and Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Order Francesco I, who since June 19, 2021 has held the position of Bailiff of the Teutonic Order.
Doctor Eugenio Cecchini, Vicar Bailiff of the Order; Esq. Arnaudo Bonanni, and Father Angelo Maria Oddi (as well as Count Fabio Maximo Cassani Pironti).
During the meeting, the activities of each of the two Orders were presented and activities that could be carried out jointly were proposed.

Rome, April 4th, 2022 – H.R.H. Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro, Head of the Royal House and Grand Master met His Eminence Cardinal Renato Raffaele Martino, Protodeacon of the Holy Roman Church and Grand Prior of the Order.
During the visit, the Grand Prior said that he was very happy with the charitable initiatives that are being carried out in the different delegations and expressed his great gratitude for the fundraising that is being carried out in favour of the Ukrainian population in which all the Knights and Dames the Order participated. The meeting ended with the hope of an upcoming ceremony that could be presided by His Eminence the Grand Prior.

Rome, April 4th, 2022 – H.R.H. Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro, Head of the Royal House and Grand Master was received by His Eminence Cardinal Konrad Krajewski, Almoner to His Holiness.
During the pleasant meeting, His Eminence thanked the Grand Master for the many donations carried out by the Order in favour of Apostolic Charity and expressed the hope that the current situation in Ukraine will end soon.

The same day H.R.H. the Duke of Castro visited His Eminence Cardinal Angelo Comastri, Bailiff Grand Cross of Justice of our Order, for a cordial courtesy meeting, during which the next initiatives in the presence of Archpriest Emeritus of Saint Peter were planned.

Roma, 28 marzo 2022 – S.A.R. il Principe Carlo di Borbone delle Due Sicilie, Duca di Castro, Capo della Real Casa e Gran Maestro del Sacro Militare Ordine Costantiniano di San Giorgio, esprime il profondo cordoglio per la scomparsa dell’On. Prof. Antonio Martino, Cavaliere di Gran Croce con Placca d’Oro.
L’Onorevole Martino ha collaborato a lungo con l’Ordine Costantiniano, a partire dalla sua ammissione nel 1994.
Laureato in giurisprudenza, nel corso della sua lunga carriera ha ricoperto molti prestigiosi incarichi: tra gli altri, Ministro della Difesa, Ministro degli Affari Esteri, nonché Deputato della Repubblica Italiana.
Una preghiera per l’anima dell’Onorevole Professor Martino è stata elevata da parte di Sua Eminenza Reverendissima il Cardinale Renato Raffaele Martino, Protodiacono di Santa Romana Chiesa e Gran Priore dell’Ordine.
