Rome June 27, 2015. The Vicar Delegation of Rome, according to Dr. Maria Teresa Letta, Vice President of the Italian Red Cross, made a big effort, in these weeks, to collect essential goods in favor of the earthquake victims in Nepal.
The large quantity of material collected, including medical devices (defibrillators and wheel chairs), tents to set up hospitals, emergency shelter and clothing for those disadvantaged populations, was offered , on June 27 at 16:30, in the parish of S. Giuseppe al Trionfale at the presence of the Delegate of Lazio, H.S.H Prince Manfred Windisch-Graetz and the Vicar Delegate for the city of Rome, the Marquis Lawyer Giorgio Mirti della Valle, as well as Knights and Dames of the Order.
This important initiative is part of the project “The hunger of our neighbour” strongly supported by Our Grand Master H.R.H. Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro, and integrates the continuous activities of the Order to give food and health support to the the poor of the parish of S. Giuseppe al Trionfale.
