Dear Knights and Dames,
His Eminence Cardinal Renato Raffaele Martino, Grand Prior, has asked me to present the following document he wrote on the occasion of the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.
The Grand Prior wishes that from now on this message, which is addressed to all the Priors, Chaplains, Knights and Dames of the Constantinian Order, in its articulation and its structuring, be considered as programmatic for the ongoing year until the next feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.
It will therefore be the text that will inspire reflections and insights as well as pastoral charitable activity which, notes Cardinal Martino: “it is a sign of maturity and a full awareness of the authentic charism of the Constantinian Order, as emphasized by the example offered to all by the charitable activities of Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Grand Master”.
