On March, 16th a convention on Knightly orders and their relation with the Italian legislation and the Holy See took place at the Prefecture in Pavia. The Prefect, Dr. Attilio Visconti, greeted all the participants (more than 120 guests) and thanked the speakers. Then Dr. Ravazzani, who is the ANIOC President and the event organizer, took the floor and introduced the subject of the conference. He also explained the Orders’ evolution from an historical point of view. Afterwards Hon. Alberto Lembo described the several attempts which unfortunately take place nowadays to trade fake decorations and certificates. Msgr. Arnaldo Morandi clarified the relations between the Holy See and the Knightly Orders, in particular of the Constantinian Order. Indeed, all the speakers and organizers are part of the Constantinian Order. Lots of Knights and Dames of our Order, the Order of Malta and the Holy Sepulchre attended the event. A productive debate followed the conference. The event ended with a lunch at the prestigious Tennis Club.
