Naples, 20th July 2024 – All the members of the Royal Family gathered to commemorate them in the historical Church of San Ferdinando in Naples, a symbol of faith and tradition, marking an important moment for the Royal House’s history.

H.R.H. Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro, Head of the Royal House and Grand Master of the Dynastic Orders, delivered the decorations and diplomas of the Sacred Militay Constantinian Order of Saint George, to the 32 members of the family who had not yet received them.

This solemn act is linked to the historical commitment of the Constantinian Knights. The Church of San Ferdinando in Naples also became part of the heritage of the Royal House of Bourbon, during the Kingdom of Naples.

“This event – stated H.R.H Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies – enhances the family and historical relationships, also strenghtening our bond with the city of Naples. In memory of our traditions, which date back to the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, in accordance with the values of the Constantinian Order we will carry on common projects of social solidarity and humanitarian support in the promotion of peace. These actions reflect our legacy and a practical commitment for the future, in line with the example of our ancestors, who promoted social well-being, art and culture, respecting the principles that have characterised the Royal Family for centuries.”
