ROME AND LAZIO – DONATION TO THE “ELEMOSINERIA APOSTOLICA”

Last 24th January, Marquis Giuseppe Ferrajoli, Delegate for Rome and Lazio, Noble Esq. Gualtiero Ventura, accompanied by the General Secretary of the Order, Mr. Giampaolo Grazian, went to the “Elemosineria Apostolica” for a donation of about 1500 packets of medical products, that will be gifted to needy people seeking refuge near the Colonnade of St Peter’s by H.R.H. Cardinal Konrad Krajewski.

This donation has strenghtened the deep bond between the Order and the Vatican institutions.

ROME AND LAZIO: DONATION TO “SALVAMAMME” ASSOCIATION

Rome, Friday, January 12th 2024.
The Delegate Marquis Giuseppe Ferrajoli, along with Engineer Milena Lerario, Dame Commander of the Order, visited the headquarter of the Salvamamme Association to meet its President, Doctor Grazia Passeri, in order to make the first donation of the year on behalf of the Roma and Lazio Delegation.

Eng. Lerario, C.E.O. of Airbus Italy, recently started a fundraising among her colleagues, which responded with readiness and affordability by donating clothes, books, toys and sketchbooks to the Delegation and to Salvamamme.

Secretary General of the Order, Doct. Giampaolo Grazian and Treasurer of the Order Doct. Alessandro Viola Cortes were both present to the handover and remarked the sympathy of T.R.H. Prince Charles and Princess Camilla of Bourbon Two Sicilies for the laudable activities carried out in support of women and minors in need, reinforcing a long-standing cooperation.

The past 14 December, H.E. Francesco Ruspoli, Grand Chancellor, made a donation in favor of the Smile House Foundation ETS aboard the Cavour Ship moored in the port of Civitavecchia, on behalf of the Constantinian Order.

The initiative was born in collaboration with the General Secretariat of Defense and the Navy, and in the wake of a series of agreements signed by the General Secretariat of Defense/ National Directorate of Armaments, the Navy and the Smile House Foundation ETS, to allow the setting up of a new Smile House Center at the Hospital of the Navy of Taranto.

The Constantinian Order Charity ONLUS has decided to adhere to provide its contribution that was symbolically delivered by H.E. the Grand Chancellor during an important ceremony, in the presence of the Undersecretary of Defense, Sen. CONDOLENCES FOR THE PASSING OF FATHER REGIS N. BARWIG

H.R.H. Prince Charles of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro, Head of the Royal House and Grand Master of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George expresses deep sorrow at the loss at 90 years of age of Very Rev. Fr. Regis Norbert Barwig, founder of the Community of Our Lady of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, USA,  and Prior Emeritus of the American Delegation, who entered the Constantinian Order as an Ecclesiastical Knight Commander of Grace in 1989 and as Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Order of Francis I in 2017.

H.R.H. the Duke of Castro wishes to honor his memory in light of his role as the spiritual, pastoral and human guide that Fr. Regis embodied for the American Delegation from the moment of its foundation, and for all who knew him.

This morning, His Eminence Cardinal Martino, Protodeacon of Holy Roman Church and Grand Prior of the Order, prayed for the repose of his soul.
