The Vice Delegate of Sicily, escorted by a voluntary, donated some products for children to the Church Caritas in Balestrate, near Palermo. The donation, which is part of “Briciole di Salute” project, included some biscuits, milk, sugar, nappies and baby food.
On Saturday, 3rd February the usual donation to S. Anthony Church in Borgetto (Palermo) took place. Needy families were given some biscuits, milk, tomato sauce and canned beans.
TRH Princesses Maria Carolina and Maria Chiara support “Les Anges Gardiens of Monaco” Association preparing some dishes that will be offered to the needy people in Nice.
Viareggio – Lucca, January, 31st 2017. Knight of Merit, Mr. Alessandro Freschi, who is the Representative for Versilia of the Tuscan Delegation of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George, on behalf of the Delegation of Tuscany, gives baby food to the Social Cooperative “Aurora”.
Brescia, January 31st 2018. Some Knights of the Delegation of Lombardy, engaged in fighting against poverty in the town, offered lots of clothes, a bed and a tv to the Diocesan Caritas in Brescia. They also offered many toys so that kids can smile a little bit more. This donation is part of “Briciole di Salute”.
The Delegation of Sicily continues its assistance activities to the neediest people.
In January many donations took place in Catania and in Acireale to Casa della Carità and Madonna della Tenda di Cristo Community respectively.
Both associations have a deep bond with the Order. At Casa della Carità Don Scrivato celebrates the mass each Sunday and the Sicilian Knights have participated in the liturgy several times, also providing food, medicines and clothes.
It is important to remember that HRH Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Grand Prefect visited Madonna della Tenda di Cristo Community last October.
