Brescia, March 1st 2024 – Shipment for the people of Ukraine is set up and ready to depart towards Rivne. It includes food, medicines, drugs and it is organized by Dame Katia Chiari, with the Tanghetti & Chiari Onlus Foundation and the involvement of the Lombardy delegation.
MOLISE: SETTLEMENT OF THE NEW BISHOP MONS. BIAGIO COLAIANNI
Last Saturday, March 9th the Campobasso-Bojano Dioceses welcomed their new Bishop, Mons. Biagio Colaianni. He chaired the solemn investiture ceremony at the Basilica Minore dell’Addolorata of Castelpetroso in the presence of various religious, civil, militar authorities and a large crowd of believers.
In addition to the Order of Malta and to the Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, a group of Knights of the delegation was invited and consisted of the following Knights: Comm. Secretary Giuseppe D’Amico, Knight Cristian Di Paola, Knight Roberto D’Aloisio, Knight Michele Di Maio, Knight Giuseppe Di Nonno. The beginning of the Holy Mass was characterised by the greetings of the Archbishop Emeritus, Mons. Giancarlo Maria Bregantini. He was accompanied by the aforementioned Knights with whom he lingered at the end of the function. This has confirmed his spiritual cooperative availability as Prior of the delegation and Knight Grand Cross of Ecclesiastal Grace.
Our Grand Master, Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies and our Molise Delegate, Duke Ettore d’Alessandro di Pescolanciano wished their most sincere congratulations to both the outgoing and the new Archbishop.
ROME AND LATIUM: HOLY MASS ON JANUARY 26TH 2024
Last January 26th a Solemn Holy Mass was held at the Sanctuary of Saint Salvatore in Lauro in Rome. It was chaired by His Eminence Cardinal Angelo Comastri, assisted by Dean Father Pietro Bongiovanni, in memory of Blessed Maria Cristina, Queen of Two Sicilies.
Among those present were the Delegate of Rome and Latium, Marquis Giuseppe Ferrajoli, Vice Delegate of Rome and Latium, Noble Lawyer Gualtiero Ventura, Delegation Advisor Don Guglielmo dei Principi Giovanelli Marconi and the Commisioner of the Magistral Heraldry Commission, Noble Dr. Fabrizio Ratto Vaquer.
SOUTHERN-EAST ASIA: EVENT ON 20-23 FEBRUARY 2024

The Constantinian Order, thanks to its Special Consultive Status to the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations Organizations, and Observer at the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN-ESCAP, based in Bangkok) received an invitation letter from Ms. Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Secretary of ESCAP, regarding the Eleventh Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development, which has been held at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok from 20 to 23 February 2024.
The Delegate for Southeast Asia, H.E. Don Antonio Benedetto Spada, Knight of the Royal Order of Saint Januarius, has designated the Vice Delegate Dame Commander Paola Benaglia to participate to the Eleventh Forum which theme was “Reinforcing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and eradicating poverty in times of multiple crises: the effective delivery of sustainable, resilient and innovative solutions in Asia and the Pacific, in preparation of Summit of the Future, to be held in New York on 22 and 23 September 2024.
The event included the launch of 2024 Asia-Pacific SDG Partnership Report on the topic of “People and Planet: Addressing the Interlinked Challenges of Climate Change, Poverty and Hunger in Asia and the Pacific”.
CALABRIA: HOLY MASS AND DONATION
The Delegation of Calabria celebrated a Holy Mass on Sunday, 18th February.
Before the celebration, the Vice Delegate for Calabria, Grand Officer Aurelio Badolati, together with a large group of Knights and Dames of the Order made a large donation of food products in favour of the Caritas canteen of the “Santa Maria della Candelora” parish.
The celebration took place in the same parish in the historic centre of Reggio Calabria, and was officiated by the Prior of the Delegation of Calabria Mons. Vittorio Luigi Mondello, Archbishop Emeritus of the Archdiocese of Reggio Calabria and Bova, together with the Vice Prior of the Delegation, Mons. Luigi Cannizzo.
During his homily, the Archbishop emphasised how the Devil often tries to tempt us by the most devious means, underlining that only faith and prayers can help us repel such temptations.
The evening ended with a convivial banquet near the parish church.
