On Tuesday, 17 October in Rome, at the Magistral Palace, seat of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, H.E. Father John Timothy Dunlap, Prince and 81° Grand Master, received H.R.H. Prince Charles of Bourbon of the Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro, and his wife, H.R.H. Princess Camilla of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duchess of Castro.
The Duke of Castro was accompanied by H.E. Father Francesco, Prince Ruspoli, Grand Chancellor, H.E. Ambassador Umberto Vattani, Councillor of the Royal House of Bourbon of the Two Sicilies, and Dr. Giampaolo Grazian, Secretary General.
During the meeting, which was held at the Hall of Honour, H.R.H. Prince Charles of Bourbon of the Two Sicilies, as Head of the Royal House and Grand Master of the Dynastic Orders, conferred to H.E. Father John Timothy Dunlap the title and related decorations of Knight of the Royal Order of San Gennaro, in recognition of the deep loyalty shown by H.E. Father Dunlap to the Royal House of Bourbon of the Two Sicilies.
The event has allowed to strengthen, once again, the ancient and indissoluble ties between the Sovereign Military Order of Malta and the Royal House of Bourbon of the Two Sicilies, as well as the friendship and mutual esteem between H.E. Father Dunlap and H.R.H. the Duke of Castro.
The ceremony was followed by a private breakfast.
