On the occasion of the Ordinary Jubilee Year, H.R.H. Prince Carlo of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro, Head of the Royal House and Grand Master of the Dynastic Orders, has decided, together with His Most Reverend Eminence the Cardinal Grand Prior and the other Grand Charges, to organize an International Pilgrimage of the Order titled “Spiritu Ambulemus” (Let Us Walk in the Spirit).
The goal of the Pilgrimage is to reaffirm the Orders’s spirit of service by supporting on this occasion, the Case Famiglia Project of the Circolo San Pietro. The Circolo provides two residential facilities for families of underprivileged children, both from Italy and abroad, who are long-term patients at the Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital. These facilities offer furnished rooms, each with a private bathroom, and access to a kitchen for families to prepare their own meals.
H.R.H. the Grand Master believes that this initiative; supporting families facing prolonged hospitalizations of their children at the Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital, should be embraced as a testament to the Christian values upheld by the Order, and as a tangible expression of that charity which is always mindful and ready to respond to the needs of the most vulnerable.
