On Sunday 28th April, on the occasion of the feast of Patron St. George, the Representative Dame Simona Delfino with the Prior Vicar Knight Father Augusto Piccoli, has organised a religious ceremony at the Cathedral Curch of Alessandria. The Holy Mass, animated by the Cathedral choir and celebrated by the parish priest Monsignor Gianni Torrigia, was attended by several Kinghts and Dames of the Delegation. At the end of the Mass, after the reading of Costantinian Knight’s prayer read by the Representative Delfino, all the participants gathered together for a convivial moment. The regional councillor Vittoria Poggio, the provincial councillor Gianpaolo Lumi and the President of the municipal council Giovanni Brosini attended the solemn ceremony.
On Wednesday 6th March, the Representative of Alessandria, Dame Simona Delfino and some Knights were invited to the solemn celebration of Saint Marziano, Patron Saint of the city of Tortona and of the diocese. Among the attendees, there were also the Lombardy and the Ligurian Delegates of our Order.
The religious ceremony was held in the presence of the leading municipal and provincial authorities, under the guidance of Monsignor Guido Marini, Bishop of Tortona.
The Mass was presided over by His Eminence Cardinal Angelo Bagnasco, Archbishop emeritus of Genoa and our Bailiff Knight Grand Cross of Justice.
At the end of the solemn celebration, the Delegation was invited by the Bishop Marini to his episcope for a convivial and fraternal moment.
