A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE ITALIAN RED CROSS AND THE CONSTANTINIAN ORDER WAS SIGNED

The ceremony for the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the National Committee of the Italian Red Cross and the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George was held in Rome on December, 4th 2018 at 4pm. The National President of the Red Cross Mr. Francesco Rocca and the Grand Master of the Constantinian Order, HRH Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro signed the agreement.

The fundamental objectives the document is based on are:

• protection of the health and life;

• promotion of the social activities;

• help in case of emergencies and disasters, providing a prompt response to community needs;

• promotion of rights, in particular of International Humanitarian Law, Fundamental Principles, Humanitarian Values and International Cooperation;

• implementation of initiatives to offer support to young people;

• development, communication and promotion of volunteering.

Both the Grand Master and Mr. Rocca said they were fully satisfied with the agreement reached. At the end of the ceremony, the Duke of Castro handed the gold medal of merit to the Italian Red Cross flag.

TRH Prince Charles and Princess Camilla of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Dukes of Castro, accompanied by TRH Princesses Maria Carolina and Maria Chiara of Bourbon Two Sicilies, will spend a few days in Rome and will take part in some important institutional events.

On December 4th at 11.30am at Via Ramazzini15 the Salvamamme Association will present its initiatives for Christmas, in the presence of HRH Princess Camilla of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duchess of Castro, who is Ambassador of the association, Mrs. Grazia Passeri, President of the Association, Mrs. Debora Diodati, President of the Italian Red Cross and Mrs. Angela Lionetti, Italian Red Cross Referent for Salvamamme.

On the same day, at 4pm, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of San Giorgio and the Italian Red Cross will be presented and signed by the Grand Master HRH Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro and the lawyer Francesco Rocca. At the end of the ceremony, the Duke of Castro will deliver the gold medal of merit to the Italian Red Cross flag.

On December 5th at 5pm the Dukes of Castro will attend the presentation of the book “Moderne Odissee” written by H.E Ambassador Antonio Morabito. The event was organized under the patronage of the Constantinian Order and will take place at the Almo Collegio Capranica- Piazza Capranica, 98.

02Livorno, 21 dicembre 2016. Presso la Caritas di Livorno è stato organizzato, dalla Delegazione Toscana del Sacro Militare Ordine Costantiniano di San Giorgio, un pranzo prenatalizio per 160 bisognosi.
Il Delegato Vicario Commendatore di Merito con Placca Edoardo Puccetti assistito da Cavalieri, unitamente a Suor Raffaella Spiezzo, Presidente della Fondazione Caritas di Livorno e S.E.R. Monsignor Simone Giusti, Vescovo di Livorno Commendatore di Grazia Ecclesiastica, hanno contribuito in prima persona con il loro servizio alla realizzazione dell’evento, simbolo di solidarietà e condivisione con i meno fortunati, nel rispetto del progetto voluto dal Gran Maestro dell’Ordine S.A.R. il Principe Carlo di Borbone Due Sicilie Duca di Castro “la fame del nostro vicino”.

La lodevole iniziativa è stata poi replicata nella suggestiva Pieve dei Santi Leonardo e Cristoforo, compresa nella diocesi di Montepulciano dove i Cavalieri della Delegazione Toscana, dopo aver partecipato alla Santa Messa per la festività dell’Epifania, celebrata da Don Cilio Rossi, hanno consegnato al Dottor Claudio Giardino, Governatore della Misericordia di Sinalunga, beni di prima necessità da destinare alle famiglie bisognose della diocesi.
