The Tuscany Delegation commemorated St. George the Martyr, Patron Saint of the Order, by a Holy Mass officiated in the Church of San Jacopo in Acquaviva, in Livorno. The ceremony, celebrated by Don Rodolfo Rossi, Prior of the Tuscany Delegation and concelebrated among others by the Very Reverend Monsignor Giovanni Scarabelli, was attended by numerous Knights and Dames, led by Vice Delegate Edoardo Puccetti, Knight Commander of Merit with Star.
Following a convivial lunch in the halls of the Officers’ Club of the Naval Academy of Livorno, there was a conference on the final actions of two great fleets of the Mediterranean: the navies of the Order of Malta and of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies.
On April 27 a group of Knights of the Delegation donated food items to the priest of the Parish of San Cristofono di Novoli, to be distributed to needy families of the community.
