Admiral Pietro Luciano Ricca, Director of Military Personnel, received his diploma of Knight Grand Officer of Merit

Rome, September 29th, 2020 – On September 29th, Admiral Pietro Luciano Ricca, Director of the Military Defense Personnel, accompanied by Legal Advisor, Captain Fabrizio Ratto Vaquer, was received at the Chancellery by H.E. the Grand Chancellor Prince Francesco Ruspoli, in the presence of the Secretary General Giampaolo Grazian and Vice Delegate of the city of Rome, Count Riccardo Langosco di Langosco.

During the meeting, H.E. the Grand Chancellor presented the diploma of Knight Grand Officer of Merit to Admiral Ricca, who expressed his gratitude and reiterated his appreciation for the charitable activities carried out by the Order.

On September 14th, a mass was celebrated on the occasion of the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross at the Saint-Roch Church in Paris. The celebration was presided by Msgr. Thierry Laurent.

SICILY: ACTIVITIES OF SEPTEMBER

On September 2nd, the first distribution of products for children took place at the Maria SS degli Agonizzanti Church in Monreale. This donation is part of the “Briciole di Salute” project. The Vice Delegate Antonio Di Janni, assisted by volunteers Lia Giangreco and Sonia Lo Monaco, distributed diapers, baby food, cookies, milk, pasta and clothes.

On September 3rd, H.R.H. Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Grand Prefect, accompanied by the representative for the city of Noto Marcello Cantone, delivered around 100 cans of tuna to the Little Brothers and Sisters of Jesus and Mary. This donation will help Saint Corrado canteen. Mr. Cantone and Sister Teresa of the monastic community welcomed Princess Beatrice.

On the same date, H.R.H. Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies was received by the Bishop of Noto, H.E. Rev. Mgr Antonio Staglianò. The Grand Prefect, accompanied by the representative for the city of Noto Marcello Cantone, discussed with the bishop about the critical economic situation that hit the city of Noto and the help that the Constantinian Order of Saint George could provide, in particular in favour of the canteen of Saint Corrado, which will resume its service after September 15th.

On September 3rd, the representative of Alessandria and Asti, as well as the parish priest GianPaolo Civillini, donated medicines and women’s bathrobes to the parish of Savignona. All products will be used to help the many needy families of the area.

Bovezzo (BS), September 1st, 2020 – In coordination with the Vice Delegate, the Prior and the Representative of Mantua, within the framework of the program of collaboration with the diocesan Caritas, Mr. Villotta Stefano, Mr. Mazzola Luciano, Mr. Salvi Nicola, Mr. Gaole Claudio and Mr. Cuna Valentino delivered 2 quintals of pasta, a sewing machine and foodstuffs in favour of several families and elderly people helped by the parish.
