Vice Delegate Mr Giuseppe Rizzani and the representative for Pavia, Mr. Vittorio Barella, accompanied by a group of Constantinian knights, attended the inauguration of the restoration of the parish church of Menconico.
During the ceremony, presided by His Most Rev. Eminence Mons. Gianni Ambrosio, Bishop of Piacenza, Grand Cross of Ecclesiastical Grace, the precious and ancient relic of St. George, who restoration was financed by the Lombardy representatives present, was displayed.
The Bishop then blessed the wood altar whose restoration was offered by a postulant candidate of the Constantinian Order as a sign of devotion and good will.
On this occasion the vice delegate confirmed to the Bishop the desire to also restore the precious blade of St. George, our Patron Saint, to whom the church is dedicated.
