Marquise Federica de Gregorio Cattaneo represented the Constantinian Order during a Ceremony organised by the military school Nunziatella, at the end of the three-year period led by Colonel Ermanno Lustrino, Commander of the school and Knight of our Order. On this occasion, in the presence of some of the highest authorities of the army, some scholarships and medals of merit, which strengthen the close bond between the Nunziatella military school and the Order, were announced.
The famous “Pio Alferana” 2022 award ceremony took place in Castellabate. The event was organized by the Constantinian Knight Prof Vittorio Sgarbi and H.R.H. Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies, accompanied by the Delegate Federica de Gregorio Cattaneo, attended.
The Mayor of Castellabate and many illustrious guests such as the journalist Cesara Buonamici, the director of the excavations of Pompei Gabriel Zuchtriegel and many other guests participated in the event.
In addition, the Princess, in the company of Don Leopoldo de Gregorio Cattaneo and Dr. Generoso di Meo, visited the exhibition of photographs taken by Prof. Sgarbi and the magnificent exhibition owned by Mr. Saverio di Giaimo.
On July 3rd, after receiving the invitation of H.E. Bishop Battaglia, Metropolitan Archbishop of Naples and H.E. Msgr Castello, Auxiliary Bishop of Naples, the delegation of Naples and Campania participated in the inauguration of the Naples Cathedral, honoring Christ throughout the morning with a picket of honor made up of Knights and Dames.
In the afternoon there was a procession from the Cathedral to Square Mercato and then a Holy Mass presided by Bishop Castello.
Marquise Federica de Gregorio Cattaneo dei Principi di Sant’Elia received Brigadier General Natale Ceccarelli, Dr. Gianfranco Wurzburger, Mr. Patrizio Albano and Dr. Vincenzo Tammaro, to whom she presented the diplomas. The Vice Prior, Father Mario Savarese, Knight and Delegation Councilor Dr. Giannangelo Marciano, Knight and Esq. Diomede Gersone, Knight and Esq. Constantino d’Aulisio Garigliota, Knight Dr. Davide Di Blasi and Knight Eng. Alessandro Caramiello attended as well.
The Cathedral of Caserta, dedicated to Saint Michael and inaugurated in 1842 by Bishop Domenico Narni Mancinelli in the presence T.M. Ferdinand II and Maria Teresa, welcomed the Knights of the delegation of Naples and Campania who participated in the liturgy in honour of Saint George. Bishop Luigi Castiello celebrated the Mass.
