LOMBARDY: RECENT DELEGATION ACTIVITIES

Through the organization of a charity event, Knight Giuseppe Scolaro was able to acquire a significant quantity of goods of first necessity and personal hygiene products such as: sugar, extra virgin oil, seed oil, milk, grana padano, tuna, diapers, soap, detergent and many others. A large amount of these products was then donated to the parish Caritas of Corte Franca and Iseo. Father Francesco Gasparotti, pastor of Corte Franca, along with Father Francesco Zaniboni, pastor of Iseo, expressed sincere gratitude for the Delegation’s work of charity.

Brescia, 28th December 2023.
Knight Pietro Santacroce acquired many essential goods for needy families, which were then donated to Sister Paola, responsible for the Casa Gabriella Project of the Handmaids of Charity Nuns.

Mantua, 29th December 2023.
It was an intense morning for the Representative of Mantua Knight Officer Maurizio Mirandola, who dealt with merit diplomas awarding, followed by the greeting of His Excellency Monsignor Marco Busca, Bishop of Mantua.
The first meeting took place in the Council Hall of the Municipality of Mantua in the presence of local journalists. There, the Representative proceeded to give news about the Constantinian Order and listed its yearly activities, before awarding Doctor Massimo Allegretti, President of the Municipality Council, Doctor Roberto Mambrini, Doctor Corrado Andreani and Professor Roberto Archi of merit diplomas.

Later on, the large group – furtherly composed of Knight Andrea Moretti, Postulant Stefano Solci and Knight Lawyer Paolo Vandelli Bulgarelli of the Mantua Representation – was greeted by His Excellency Monsignor Marco Busca, Bishop of Mantua. The Representative communicated to H.E. Mons. Busca that the Delegation once again bestowed a donation for works of charity and remarked his complete personal availability to H.E. Lastly, he submitted the annual report of the conducted support activities. The Bishop thanked the participants and the members of the Costantinian Order for their work.

Lumezzane (Brescia) 2nd of January 2024
Knight Romano Savi and Honored Francesca Ghidini acquired and donated many hygiene products for needy senior citizens and families to the parish Caritas of Lumezzane, headed by Father Michele Tognazzi.

For the beginning of the new year, the Knights and Dames of Lombardy Delegation hosted the traditional New Year’s Eve lunch for the guests of the charity kitchen Menni of the diocesan Caritas of Brescia. Members of the Representation such as Knight Luciano Mazzola, Giuseppe Navoni and his wife, Fabio Serravalle and Mario Fortunato lended a hand to the Caritas volunteers.

Thanks to the mediation of Father Faustino Pari, Knight of Ecclesiastical Grace and pastor of Bagnolo Mella, Lombardy Delegation was able to collect drugs for the medical emergency in Lebanon through the Association 29 Maggio of Ghedi (Brescia), which donated two pallets of medicines to the coordinator Father Charbel.

On Monday 18th December a group of Knights of Alessandria, led by Mrs. Simona Delfino in collaboration with Vice Prior Father Augusto Piccoli, has made a donation of healthcare products in favor of the religious congregation “Gesù Educatore” for african families lacking hospital care in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The initiative was proposed by Friar Priest Mr. Gianpaolo Civillini with the help of Sister Chantal, and supported by Knight Giuseppe Paolo Lazzaro, President of the company “Federfamiglia” of Melzo, by Knight Roberto Epifano, Mrs. Cristina Carta, representative Mrs. Simona Delfino and Mrs. Matilde Zacchia, owner of the homonimous pharmacy of Valenza, who worked to provide those products.

The Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta Christmas event was held in Turin and was celebrated in the Sanctuary of St. Anthony of Padua by Vice Prior of the Delegation, Father Augusto Piccoli. Many civil and militar authorities attended the event.

The celebration continued at Comando Militare Esercito Piemonte for a dinner with the traditional exchange of Christmas gifts.

The Delegation of Naples and Campania, represented by the Delegate Donna Federica Cattaneo De Gregorio, participated in the solemn Mass in memorial of King Francis II of Bourbon for his 129° passing Anniversary at the Church of Holy Mary of Victory in Naples.
The celebration, sponsored by the Royal House, was organized by the Foundation Il Giglio and the Neo-Bourbon movement.
Many Knights and Dames attended the ceremony, along with the Reggimento Re Association.

EUCHARISTIC CELEBRATION IN SAN SALVATORE IN LAURO

In the afternoon of 14 December, a Solemn Mass was held in memory of the Blessed Virgin of Loreto de’ Marchigiani at the Parish of San Salvatore in Lauro in Rome. The celebration was presided over by His Most Reverend Excellency Mgr. Rino Fisichella, Pro-Prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization.

A large group of Knights and Dames of the Rome and Lazio Delegation, as well as the Marche and Umbria delegation, participated. The parish priest of San Salvatore in Lauro, Mons. Pietro Bongiovanni was present.

ROME AND LAZIO: CEREMONIES OF 25 – 26 NOVEMBER

On 25 and 26 November, the Rome and Lazio Delegation organized an intense weekend full of ceremonies with the participation of the Delegate Marquis Giuseppe Ferrajoli di Filacciano. It was the first official event with the participation of the new Vice Delegate for the Provinces of Lazio, the Noble Prof. Lawyer Franco Ciufo. On Saturday 26 there was a conference followed by the Grand Gala in the halls of the Grande Albergo Miramare in Formia and on Sunday the solemn Mass was celebrated in the Cathedral of San Pietro in Minturno. There were over one hundred present at the demonstrations, with the intervention of civil and military authorities. The Minister of Defense, Hon. Guido Crosetto, our Confrere, unable to be present personally for the well-known moment of international crisis, wished to greet the Delegates and the Confreres gathered and to offer his best wishes for the oncoming Christmas holidays and the end of the year. The message, very touching and appreciated, was read during the ceremony.
