MEETING AT THE MILITARY ACADEMY OF MODENA

Modena, 8 October 2015. On 8^th October at the headquarters of the Military Academy of Modena there will be a meeting between the Military Chaplain Father Manuel Paganuzzi and the Vicarius Delegate Knight Gran Cross of Merit Dr. Umberto Zio, about the ritual presentations, the upcoming of the Holy Mass scheduled in the city, and the planning of the activities of the Constantinian Order of Saint George. A tour of the military building and an introductory meeting with the Permanent Cadre will follow.

DELEGATION OF TRIVENETO – SOLEMNITY OF OUR LADY OF THE ROSARY

Trieste, 4 October 2015. On the occasion of the solemnity of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, the Delegation for Triveneto region of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St George, along with Vicarious Delegate Commander Giorgio Miccoli, was invited to attend a solemn vespers service at the parish church of the same name in the old town of Trieste. This was a service set to an accompaniment of falso-bordone passages composed by T.L. De Victoria and featuring C. Monteverdi’s ‘Magnificat’. Each musical section was performed by the widely-acclaimed ‘Cappella Musicale’ in Trieste. During the holy rite, His Most Reverend Eminence Monsignor Giampaolo Crepaldi, Bishop of Trieste, gave his blessings for a new statue of Our Lady of the Rosary before presiding over a Marian procession which made its way through the back streets surrounding the parish. At the end of the service, Monsignor Giampaolo Crepaldi, a most illustrious Constantinian Brother, met with the Delegate and the Knights in attendance, offering his grateful thanks for their participation.

Livorno, 4 October 2015. The Vicar-Delegate of the Tuscany Delegation of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St George, Knight Commander of Merit Mr Edoardo Puccetti is very pleased to invite all the honourable Knights and Dames to the Installation Ceremony of the Ecclesiastical Knight of Grace and chaplain of our Order, Father Donato Mollica as he enters upon his duties as Rector of the Cathedral of Livorno. Holy Mass will be celebrated by His Eminence The Most Reverend Dr Simone Giusti, Ecclesiastical Knight Commander of Grace, Bishop of Livorno.

“The Dara Project – The Hunger of Our Neighbour”

Varapodio (RC), 2 October 2015. The Delegation of Calabria of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order, under the leadership of the Vicarious Delegate Dr Aurelio Badolati, Knight Commander of Merit with Star, was in attendance as a guest of honour at a major conference, organised by the Leo Club “Polistena Brutium”. The purpose of the event was to establish ties of close cooperation between the two organisations due to the Club pursuing many of the humanitarian interests also shared by the Grand Master, and which seem to be particularly pertinent to one of the Order’s more recent charitable “Mission”. In the presence of several Knights and Benefactors of the Delegation, local authorities and a large number of people, the event took place in the Council Hall of the City of Varapodio (RC), a venue specially picked for the occasion by the Mayor of the City, Dr Orlando Fazzolari. The Mayor participated in an interesting debate which was centred on new forms of poverty and the methodologies to be implemented for their eradication including the potential role played by the establishing of cross-organisational relations and synergies between the Knightly Orders and various associations in general.

Reggio Calabria, 2 October 2015. A conference aiming to examine the challenges posed by new types of poverty around the world and the role played by associations and knightly orders, synergies and solutions, is to be held in the Assembly Room of the City Council of Varapodio (RC).
