Bangkok, 18 November 2022 – His Excellency Mr. Paolo Dionisi, new Ambassador of Italy to Thailand, also accredited to Cambodia and Laos, inaugurated the 7th Week of the Italian Cuisine at EmQuartier mall, in the name of “Sustainability, conviviality, innovation”, event with a rich program of musical performances and informative video screenings.

The Delegate, His Excellency Antonio Benedetto Spada, Knight of the Royal Order of Saint Januarius, and the Vice Delegate, have been invited onto the stage together with Diplomats, Authorities and high-ranking officials.

On Monday 7th November, a group of Knights from the Delegation of Calabria, led by Vice Delegate Grand Officer Aurelio Badolati, donated a table football to the Parish of Maria Santissima Annunziata in the Pellegrina of Bagnara Calabra (RC) district. In addiction to the donations, the Knights attended a mass, officiated by Father Giuseppe Saraceno, who during the homily thanked the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St. George for its support to the needy of Pellegrina on several others occasions. The initiative was praised by the volunteers involved in the charity in favor of the parishioners.
The Delegation thanks Lieutenant Special Charge of Carabinieri Antonino Calorenni and Mr. Livio Cavagna for their contribution and active cooperation because without their Christian charity, the donation could not have taken place.

On Sunday, Nov. 13, the Alziator Prize edition was held at the premises of the Church of St. Joseph in Cagliari-Piri, in the presence of the Archbishop of Cagliari H.E. Monsignor Giuseppe Baturi, with the presentation of the book on the life of Queen Maria Cristina of Savoy written by Mr. Luciano Regolo. On that occasion, the Delegate of Sardinia read the letter with greetings to the organizers, sent by HRH Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies and Grand Master. The dignitaries appreciated the presence of the Delegation and its Delegate, expressly asking for sending their affectionate greetings to the Grand Master.

At the beginning of November, the activities of “Briciole di Salute” project took place in several cities of Sicily, among which Monreale, S. Martino delle Scale, Patti, Carini and S. Cataldo.

Tuesday November 8, H.E. the Most Reverend Monsignor Gualtiero Isacchi received H.R.H. Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Grand Prefect, along with Vice Delegate Noble Antonio di Janni. The Princess explained to the Archibishop the charity activities carried out by the Order in Sicily and all over the world.
At the end of this cordial meeting, in addition to various publications, the Princess presented the Archbishop with a commemorative medal coined on the occasion of the 17th centenary of the Edict of Milan, which was celebrated in Monreale by the Grand Prior His Most Reverend Eminence Cardinal Renato Martino and by His Most Reverend Eminence Monsignor Michele Pennisi, Constantinian Prior of Sicily, in front of Princess Beatrice.

On the same date, a solemn Pontifical was held at the Sanctuary of San Vito, a church entrusted to the Constantinian Order . It was presided over by H.E. the Most Reverend Monsignor Angelo Giurdanella, Bishop of Mazara, who received from H.R.H. Princess Beatrice the certificate of appointment as Knight Grand Cross of Ecclesiastical Grace.

“Briciole di Salute” activities continued in the presence of H.R.H. the Grand Prefect, specifically on 12 November in Noto.

On 13 November, at the conclusion of the three-day celebration in honour of San Martino, Bishop of Tours, a Pontifical Mass was held at the Abbey of San Martino delle Scale, presided over by the Most Reverend Father Roberto Dotta.

NAPLES AND CAMPANIA: DONATION OF 4 NOVEMBER

On Friday, November 4 in honor of St. Charles, Dame Nunzia Sannino of the Delegation of Naples and Campania, headed by Marquise Federica De Gregorio Cattaneo, visited the Franciscan friars of the Convent of San Pasquale in Portici. The Dame donated, with the Delegation’s authorization, a substantial collection of various food and hygiene products for the soup kitchen and for underprivileged families.
The collection was delivered to Father Nemia, in charge of the Convent and the soup kitchen.
Father Nemia explained to Dame Nunzia Sannino several restoration projects that will soon involve the entire Convent, as the construction of a soccer field.
Father Nemia and Father Mimmo thanked the Dame and the Delegation for the donation and invited Delegate Donna Federica De Gregorio and Princess Beatrice of Bourbon, Grand Prefect of the Constantinian Order, to visit their historic convent.
