NAPLES AND CAMPANIA: DONATION OF 4 NOVEMBER

On Friday, November 4 in honor of St. Charles, Dame Nunzia Sannino of the Delegation of Naples and Campania, headed by Marquise Federica De Gregorio Cattaneo, visited the Franciscan friars of the Convent of San Pasquale in Portici. The Dame donated, with the Delegation’s authorization, a substantial collection of various food and hygiene products for the soup kitchen and for underprivileged families.
The collection was delivered to Father Nemia, in charge of the Convent and the soup kitchen.
Father Nemia explained to Dame Nunzia Sannino several restoration projects that will soon involve the entire Convent, as the construction of a soccer field.
Father Nemia and Father Mimmo thanked the Dame and the Delegation for the donation and invited Delegate Donna Federica De Gregorio and Princess Beatrice of Bourbon, Grand Prefect of the Constantinian Order, to visit their historic convent.

Il 26 ottobre il Delegato per la Lombardia il Nob. dr. Giuseppe dei Conti Rizzani è stato invitato dal Col. Gianluigi D’ Ambrosio, Comandante della Scuola Militare Teulie’ per una visita alla prestigiosa struttura con lo scopo di intensificare i rapporti di collaborazione con la Delegazione Lombarda.
Il 3 novembre, presso il Comando Militare Lombardia nel suggestivo Palazzo Cusan, su invito del Gen. Alfonso Miro e del Ten. Col. Emanuele Carozzi, sono state consegnate due medaglie di benemerenza a sottufficiali segnalati dal Comando per la loro attività nel periodo covid.

Domenica 6 novembre, in occasione della festa del Santo Patrono, la Fondazione Casa di Dio di Bresci ha invitato le rappresentanze degli Ordini che in vario modo vi collaborano. Ha presenziato anche una delegazione dell’Ordine Costantiniano con i Cavalieri Luciano Mazzola e Fabio Serravalle, incaricati dal Priore della Lombardia Mons. Arnaldo Morandi.
Presenti oltre ad alcuni ospiti con i loro familiari, volontari, molti dipendenti, collaboratori ed amministratori della Fondazione, oltre ad alcuni Assessori del Comune di Brescia e ai Sindaci dei Comuni di Castenedolo e Comezzano Cizzago.
Numerosi anche i rappresentanti degli agricoltori a cui sono affidate le proprietà terriere della Fondazione e che all’offertorio hanno portato all’altare i frutti del loro lavoro. Ha presieduto la celebrazione eucaristica Mons. Pierantonio Bodini ed ha concelebrato Mons. Mario Piccinelli.

Brescia, 9 novembre 2022 – Il Comm. Luigi Rogliano, il Dott. Roberto Carena e il Dott. Antonio Cavallo hanno consegnato al Priore della Lombardia Mons. Arnaldo Morandi una ingente donazione di crocchette Monge per gatti, offerta dalla società EDILTUTTO srl di Cavallermaggiore (Cuneo). Gli alimenti, che seguono altre importanti donazioni del genere, saranno devoluti ad organizzazioni che si occupano del randagismo, del recupero e dell’inserimento in famiglia o presso anziani soli degli animali.

Katia Chiari hanno acquisito e consegnato diversi generi alimentari e prodotti per l’igiene personale destinati agli assistiti dalla Casa Famiglia San Silvestro di Curtatone. Il materiale è stato consegnato alla responsabile Signora Eleonora Pisani. Di seguito si è partecipato alla presentazione della recente pubblicazione del confratello On. Gabriele Albertini rappresentante della città metropolitana di Milano.

The Constantinian Order NGO has been invited to participate in the “High-level Intergovernmental Meeting on the Final Review of the Asian and Pacific Decade of Persons with Disabilities- 2013/2022” co-hosted by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) and the Ministry of Social Affairs of Indonesia.

The Vice Delegate, Designated Representative to UNESCAP, has travelled from Bangkok to join Ministers, government officials, persons with disabilities, civil society, members of the media and private sector allies gathered to chart a new path for the over 700 million persons with disabilities in the Region.

Besides Dr. Armida Salsiah Alisjahbana, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Secretary of ESCAP, Key Speakers have been
Tri Rismaharini, Minister of Social Affairs of Indonesia;
Jun Byung Wang, Deputy Minister for Social Welfare Policy, Ministry of Health and Welfare of the Republic of Korea.

The meeting has reviewed progress made in the past decade, fostered consensus on new strategic directions, and renewed commitments to disability rights and disability-inclusive development (especially in the field of education, work, transport, technology), leading up to the achievement of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The full-day program has been enriched by traditional songs and dances performed by children with disabilities, various side events, a Gala Dinner hosted by the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, and a visit to the Centre of Excellence “Sentra Terpadu Inten Soeweno”, where disabled youth can learn professional skills especially in the mechanical sector.

On 26 October, the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George made a further donation at the Papal Charities in the presence of the Reverend Father Francesco Mazzitelli, Head of the Papal Charities Office. The eminent Bishop brought the greetings and gratitude of His Most Reverend Eminence Cardinal Konrad Krajewski, who, due to unforeseen commitments, was unable to attend this meeting.

For this occasion, the Costantinian Order involved some of its Italian delegations, including Abruzzo and Molise, Basilicata, Emilia-Romagna, Liguria and Sardinia, which actively participated in the event by supplying essential goods such as long-life foodstuffs.

The Secretary General of the Constantinian Order, Mr. Giampaolo Grazian also took part in this important meeting. He brought greetings of the Delegates of Basilicata and Emilia-Romagna, Mr. Massimo Calenda, Mr. Corrado Sforza Fogliani and Mr. Pietro Coppelli, who, although unable to attend in person, brought aid to the Vatican from their Delegations.
