AGRIGENTO- DEFIBRILLATOR DONATION

On August 1st the inauguration of the “Let’s help Madagascar” campaign took place. It was organized by the local Rotary Club and was attended by a group of Sicilian Knights.

Mr. Alfonso Lo Zito described the severe problems caused by the lack of healthcare and the initiatives the delegation intends to pursue to improve the social and health assistance on the island and in particular presented the “Madagascar” Project, which focuses on diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases.

After the President of the Rotary Club’s speech and Father Giuseppe Calandra’s, the Vice Delegate Mr. Di Janni took the floor and also delivered a semiautoamatic defibrillator donated by the Delegation, under the patronage of the Grand Master.

TUSCANY- DONATION JULY 2018

Florence, July 31st 2018 –The representative for the city of Florence, Mr. Costantino Calcabrina, donated several products to the local Caritas on behalf of the Tuscan Delegation.

SICILY – THE GRAND PREFECT PARTICIPATES AT THE DONATION IN NOTO

On July 30th HRH Princess Beatrice of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Grand Prefect, accompanied by the Vice Delegate and some knights, visited the canteen of S. Corrado, directed by Father Volantino.
The creation of this canteen was strongly desired by the Bishop of Noto H.E. Msgr. Antonio Staglianò.
On the occasion, a donation took place as well.

CUNEO – DONATION TO SAN VINCENZO SOCIETY

On July 30th a group of Knights, Dames and Volunteers of the Delegation, guided by the Representative of Cuneo, Mr. Pietro Bruno, delivered foodstuffs to the Parish of Santa Maria (Cuneo).

LIGURIA -MEETING BEFORE THE SUMMER BREAK

After all the activities carried out in 2018, and before the summer break, the Delegation of Liguria met at the Villa Molière, in Pegli (GE). The Delegate, Mr. Giovanni Chersola, took the floor and after a quick overview on the activities organised during the previous months, recalled the operating instructions given by HRH Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro, Grand Master of the Order, during the last meeting held in Rome with the Grand Charges.
