August 12, Lanzo Intelvi (CO) – On the occasion of the 350 anniversary of the foundation of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Loreto in Lanzo Intelvi, an extraordinary procession took place through the streets of the village. At the invitation of the Promoting Committee, a group of Constantine Knights led by the Grand Officer of Justice Count Giuseppe Rizzani Delegate of Lombardy attended the event. Members of the Delegation Council were present: Noble Knights Andrea Rivoira and Diego Zoia and Knights Salvatore Malvaso, Roberto Nardecchia, Gabriele Lombardo with the Representative of Como and Varese Knight Costantino Canevali. The emotional spiritual bond with the sanctuary of Lanzo was well manifested in the past, when, in 2014, the representation of Como donated a precious scagliola of the famous sculptor Bodini and in 2019 edited and offered a publication on its history and the art of the sanctuary.

Father Arnaldo Morandi, Prior of Lombardy, Diocesan Commissioner for the causes of Beatification and Canonization, Custodian of the Holy Relics, is now also pastor of S.S. Gervasio and Protasio M.M. in San Gervasio Bresciano. Father Arnaldo was welcomed by the community with sincere enthusiasm preceded by an atmosphere of fervent expectation and preparation.
The Mayor Jamer Scaburri, present with the city council, welcomed the new pastor on the threshold of the church with a warm welcome speech and open to full collaboration for the good of the community. The rite, in the first part, as required by the ritual, was presided over by the territorial episcopal Vicar Father Alfredo Savoldi Commander of Ecclesiastical Grace who, after proclaiming the pastor, introduced him to the presidency of the Eucharist.
Numerous concelebrant priests linked to Father Arnaldo were present. His Beatitude Raphael Bedros XXI Minassian Patriarch of Cilicia of Armenians, His Exc. Msgr. Domenico Sigalini, His Exc. Mons. Bienvenu Manakima, Msgr. Louis Narek Naamo were present. Mons. Roberto Foini, official of the Pontifical Dicastery of Propaganda Fide, who read a touching affectionate message sent for the particular occasion by H.E. Card. Renato Raffaele Martino, Protodeacon of the Holy Roman Church and Grand Prior Emeritus.
The participation of the citizenship of San Gervasio was numerous. The ceremony was joined by a group of friends from the parish of San Gottardo in Brescia, where Father Arnaldo was in charge for more than 28 years, with the former coordinator of the Pastoral Council and AE, Comm. Eugenio Bodini Knight of the Grand Cross of Merit who, at the end of the celebration, took the floor addressing the guest of honor and the new parishioners very touching and profound thoughts. Even the friends of Pavone del Mella, the town of Don Arnaldo’s origin, with the Mayor and Provincial Councillor Mariateresa Vivaldini, were present together with his mother Angelina and numerous relatives.
The presence of Knights and Dames of the Constantinian Order was significant and in this meeting they also meant the external celebration of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. Among the authorities Dr. Giuseppe Rizzani SMOC Delegate of Lombardy, the Regional Councillor Claudia Carzeri, authoritative representative of regional institutions, his friend Mario Scotti, former Councillor for the Lombardy Region, numerous representatives of the Police and the Carabinieri.
Sister Veronica Grillo, Dame of Merit, delegated by Sister Emilia Scarcella, National Inspector of the Voluntary Nursing Corps of the CRI, Dame of Commenda, at the end of the celebration read a message from the National Inspector and the reasons for the award of the prestigious Medal of the Time of Kindness-COVID.
After the solemn liturgy, the parish and municipal administration, with the commendable work of volunteers, offered to all the presents a generous refreshment, set up outdoors in the main district, where everyone was given the opportunity to entertain themselves in a festive atmosphere of serenity and express personally their wish for a profitable ministry to the new pastor.

23 September 2023 – New supply of medicines from the collection promoted at the parish of San Gervasio bresciano. The response was diligent and generous, while the collection is still ongoing. The medicines and surgical medical devices were sorted and catalogued with the help of Father Pierantonio Bodini, an expert in the health sector and professor of bioethics. The material will be sent to Lebanon in the coming days.

Palazzolo s/O – Prevalle (BS), 22 September 2023 – Knights Paolo Musatti and Maurizio Mirandola have acquired and delivered to the Shalom Community of Palazzolo S/O and to the Minelli Association of Prevalle about 5,000 portions of fresh velvety, donated by the company Euroverde – Goodness of the season of Azzano Mella (BS)for families and assisted guests.

Brescia – Bergamo, 28 September 2023 – Knight Pietro Santacroce has acquired materials for early childhood and a new stroller that he delivered to the Leonessa Cinofili Group in Brescia. The material will be donated to a needy family assisted in the municipality of Carpenedolo (BS).

Piacenza, 14 of September – On the occasion of the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, the Piacenza Delegation celebrated the entry of new Knights into the Order. The solemn investiture took place within the walls of the impressive royal oratory of Saint Dalmazio. The Brotherhood of the Holy Spirit, guardian of the oratory for centuries, welcomed the Knights of Piacenza and many other Knights from the cities of Emilia to participate in the important event. At the end of the Holy Mass, presided by H.E. Monsignor Gianni Ambrosio, Bishop Emeritus of Piacenza and Prior of the Constantinian Order, and concelebrated by Father Stefano Antonelli, Vice Prior, and Father Marcello Mantellini, of the Diocese of Reggio Emilia, The new Knights were awarded diplomas of appointment, promotion and merit. The Knights who joined the Constantinian Order are: Colonel Fabio Frattolillo, Commander of the II Pontieri Regiment, Mr Cristiano Guidotti, freelance, Mr Giuseppe Borea, freelance, Mr Gabriele Secchi, entrepreneur. Sebastiano Zappalà and Angelo Massari, Military Academy of Modena, were promoted to the upper grade. They were accompanied for the occasion by the Representative of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Knight of the Grand Cross Doctor Ilario Pagani. The delegation wanted to reward a young Piacenza student, Alessandro Sonlieti, who has been collaborating for years with the representation of Piacenza, delivering a bronze medal of merit. The ceremony ended with the interventions of the Delegate for Emilia-Romagna the Knight Officer of Justice Count Gian Luca Mattioli Belmonte Cima and the Vice Delegate Knight Dr. Pietro Coppelli, who summarized the main activities carried out by the group in favor of the local community.

Ferrara, Monday September 11 – A donation was made to the volunteer association “Servizio Accoglienza alla Vita” – SAV of Ferrara, which works to assist and help mothers and families in difficulty. The volunteers Matteo Zaganelli and Walter Chessa, coordinating with Knight Davide Zamboni and Knight Representative of Ecclesiastical Grace Father Davide Benini, have delivered what was collected during the summer break, a large amount of toys and other accessories for children. With this activity resumes the pastoral and charitable year for Knights and volunteers of the Representation of Ferrara.

Piacenza, on Saturday 30 September, at the end of the celebration of the rite of beatification of Father Giuseppe Beotti, H.E. Cardinal Marcello Semeraro, Grand Prior of the Constantinian Order, received the representation of Piacenza. The meeting was held at the episcopal chapel in the complex of the Episcope of Piacenza. For the Dames and Knights of Piacenza, led by the Prior of the Delegation Emilia Romagna Monsignor Gianni Ambrosio, the Vice Prior Father Stefano Antonelli and the Vice Delegate Knight Pietro Coppelli, it was an important moment of discussion and sharing on some issues. The meeting with Cardinal Semeraro allowed the Vice Delegate Knight Coppelli to briefly illustrate the main activities carried out, mainly inspired to support, with concrete works of charity, the community of Piacenza. The Grand Prior, thanking those present for their commitment and affection for the Constantinian Order, concluded the meeting with his blessing.

On Friday 22/09/2023 at 6 pm, the “Teresian Jubilee” was inaugurated in the city of Cosenza, celebrating the 150th anniversary of the birth of St. Therese of Lisieux and the 100th anniversary of her canonization. The Jubilee, granted in a special way by Pope Francis, began with the opening of the bronze Holy Door of the dedicated church, by H. E. Mons. Parisi, Bishop of Lamezia. The Knights and Dames placed themselves on one side of the church steps outside, in front of the members of the Equestrian Order of St. Sepulchre of Jerusalem, crowning the Bishop and accompanying him, after the opening of the Door, inside the church, taking up positions in the dedicated benches, immediately behind the civil and military Authorities that were present at the ceremony. The Benemerits and the volunteers were also present. The religious rite was also officiated by Mons. Dario De Paola, promoter of the Jubilee, pastor of St. Teresa and chaplain of the Cosenza Representation. A large musical choir animated the celebration. At the end of the celebration, after the usual photos, a rich buffet took place. It was set up in a parish hall and was reserved for the Orders of chivalry present.

On Wednesday, September 13, 2023, the American Delegation began the various liturgical celebrations of the Order’s Titular Feast, the Solemnity of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. First Vespers of the feast were celebrated in the Church of Saint John Cantius in Chicago, followed by the investiture of several new Knights and the conferral of the Bronze Benemerenti Medal of the Order, presided by the first Subprior of the Delegation, Bishop Arthur Serratelli, and followed by a festive dinner. The last of the Delegation’s observances was the Votive Mass of the Holy Cross, celebrated on Saturday, September 16 by the second Subprior, Rev. Edmund Luciano for the New York area Knights.

On September 19, 2023, the American Delegation observed the feast of Saint Januarius (San Gennaro), a patron saint of the Constantinian Order, with participation at the Solemn Mass and procession in New York; and in Tampa, Florida with Vespers and a spiritual conference on the life and devotion to the Saint given by Fr. Richard Gennaro Cipolla, Ecclesiastical Knight of Grace. H.R.H. the Grand Master conferred the Cross of the Order upon New York’s image of St. Januarius, during a special visit in September, 2018.

On Friday, July 21, 2023, the American Delegation held its annual Summer Cocktail Reception Gala to benefit Catholic Education, the relief of persecution Christians and the ongoing restoration of the ancient Roman Church of Saint Agatha of the Goths. Present for the evening, besides the Delegate and Vice Delegation of the American Delegation, were His Beatitude the Syriac Patriarch, the titular Cardinal of Saint Agatha, the Prior and the Subpriors of the Delegation, and three other Bishops, as well as Knights and Dames of the Delegation and many other guests. The meal and addresses were complemented by Neapolitan musical entertainment.
