SICILY: “BRICIOLE DI SALUTE” IN MONREALE, CARINI AND BARRAFRANCA

On May 13th, some products were delivered in Carini, Archdiocese of Monreale. Mr. Giulio Pilitteri, on behalf of the delegation, delivered homogenized and diapers to archpriest Giacomo Sgroi.

On May 14th a distribution of food, clothing, shoes and toys for children aged 0-3 was held in Barrafranca.

On May 13th, the first distribution of the month took place in Monreale. The vice delegate and two volunteers, Lia Giangreco and Sonia Lo Monaco, delivered homogenized products, diapers, milk, pasta, baby milk and clothes for children.

BASILICATA: MEETING WITH DR. BARRESI

Potenza– On May 13th the director of the hospital “San Carlo”, dr. Massimo Barresi, hosted a representation of knights and dames in order to thank the Order for the donation of personal protective equipment received from H.R.H. Prince Charles of Bourbon Two Sicilies. During the cordial meeting, director Barresi expressed his gratitude for the donation.

On Saturday, May 9th the representation of Alexandria and Asti, guided by Mrs. Simona Delfino and according to Mr. Mandia’s initiative, headed to Cassine (AL) to the headquarters of the local Red Cross, whose president is Mr. Matteo Cannonero, to make a donation of 500 euros for the purchase of material which will be useful against the spread of Covid-19. The donation was possible thanks to the contribution of Mrs. Delfino, Mr. Mandia, Muto, SantaMaria and the chaplain Father Augusto Piccoli who also gave his blessing.

Brescia, May 7th, 2020 – Mr. Stefano Villotta, Luciano Mazzola, Nicola Salvi and Claudio Gaole, coordinated by the Prior of Lombardy Mgr Arnaldo Morandi, by the Vice Delegate Dr. Giuseppe Rizzani and the secretary of the representation of Brescia Mr. Maurizio Mirandola, in response to the request for support received from the director of the Pontifical Post-Novitiate and Salesian University “Paolo VI” of Nave, Father Erino Leoni, have repeatedly delivered more than 600 portions of fresh packaged soups, various baked goods, 150 servings of fresh salads and various rotisserie food.

TRIVENETO: DONATION IN GORIZIA

Gorizia, May 9th, 2020 – On the occasion of the feast of Saint George, the representation of the city of Gorizia, headed by Mr. Vanni Feresin, wanted to give a tangible sign of solidarity to families because of the epidemic, through a donation of non-perishable foodstuffs, which was made possible by other donations received from some knights of the delegation. The products were given to volunteers of the Civil Protection Operations Centre, represented by the municipal coordinator Salvatore Gambitta, in the presence of the Representative, Mgr Arnaldo Greco and Mr. Christian Massaro who coordinated the operation.
