The ‘Summer Festival’ organised by the Piedmont and Aosta Valley Delegation was held at the Castle of Vaglio Serra (AT). The Delegation’s activities were preceded by a Holy Mass celebrated at the National Sanctuary of the Carabinieri ‘Virgo Fidelis’, near Incisa Scapaccino, by Father Tomasz Blasinski, Knight of Ecclesiastical Grace. During the religious ceremony, attended by numerous civil and military authorities, several medals of Merit of our Order were presented by the Delegate Count Marco Galateri di Genola. The evening continued at the Vaglio Serra Castle where a joyful moment was held, attended by the Dames and Knights of the Delegation, as well as several authorities.
EMILIA-ROMAGNA: SEPTEMBER 2024 ACTIVITIES

Ferrara, Tuesday, 10 September 2024. As the Delegation’s charitable activities resumed after the summer break, volunteer Walter Chessa and Knight Davide Zamboni, in coordination with the Representative Knight of Ecclesiastical Grace Father Davide Benini, delivered an electro-medical device to the Ferrara Diocesan Caritas medical clinic. In particular, thanks to the availability offered by the manufacturer and supplier company Project Blue Generation of Cento (FE) and benefactors Bosi Michele and Taddia Patrizia, a physiotherapy laser instrument, selected by the Caritas doctors themselves from those made available by the company, was handed over to the doctors. The handover was attended by Dr. Belmonte Marika, Caritas Social Worker, and Health Director Dr. Giancarlo Rasconi, as well as Mr. Bosi Michele, owner of the manufacturing company, who explained how the machine works. The delegation would like to thank all the people who, in various ways, worked for the success of the activity, including the Director of Caritas Diocesan, Paolo Falaguasta.

On Thursday, 26 September, at the Royal Oratory of San Dalmazio in Piacenza, the Knights and Dames of the Delegation of Emilia Romagna-Piacenza participated in the solemn religious service celebrated to commemorate the Constantinian feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. At the end of the Eucharistic ceremony, an Investiture Ceremony took place. The Prior Vicar Knight Father Stefano Antonelli read the message of the Grand Prior of the Order, H.E. the Most Reverend Cardinal Marcello Semeraro, offering insights for spiritual reflection. The Delegate for Emilia Romagna, Knight of Justice Count Gian Luca Mattioli Belmonte Cima, accompanied by the Vice Delegate Official Knight Pietro Coppelli, thanked the large group of Constantinian Knights of Piacenza for their constant and assiduous attention to the people in difficulty. A thought that was also echoed by the director of the Diocesan Caritas of Piacenza and Bobbio, Deacon Mario Idda, who in his speech emphasised the closeness of the Constantinian Order, recalling the many initiatives undertaken together. There was also the familiar hospitality of the Brothers of the Holy Spirit, custodians of the Oratory of San Dalmazio, who provided a guided visit to the very ancient crypt, a hypogeum of Romanesque art, one of the oldest and most evocative in the city.
CALABRIA: DONATIONS AND EVENTS SUMMER 2024

On July 8, the Calabria Delegation began the traditionally dedicated month of prayers in honor of the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ Our Lord with a generous donation of food and basic necessities. The beneficiaries of this act of solidarity were the Community of Parishes of St. John the Baptist, St. Nicholas of Bari and St. Rocco, located in Gioiosa Ionica (RC). The food items donated included a wide range of products, including pasta, canned goods, legumes, oil, sugar, snacks, fruit juices and many other basic necessities. These food items will be distributed to the needy families in the parishes, providing them with concrete and immediate support. Parish priest Father Francesco Passarelli, Caritas volunteers and some members of the community attended the donation.

Bishop Monsignor Serafino Parisi has already been holding the diocese of Lamezia Terme for two years. Into his hands, and those of the Caritas Diocesan director Father Fabio Stanizzo, a representation of the Delegation of Calabria delivered a wheelchair that Caritas will in turn donate to a disabled member of the diocese.
Welcomed into the Bishop’s Palace located in Nicastro, Knights Carlo Parisio, Roberto Bendini, Pasquale Lagamba and Antonio Oliverio were present on behalf of the Delegation of Calabria.

On August 3, the Calabria Delegation organized a day devoted to the Faith of spiritual growth through a religious and cultural-historical journey held in Lungro, Acquaformosa, San Donato di Ninea and Policastrello, in the province of Cosenza.

On Saturday, August 10, a group of Knights and Dames of the delegation participated, invited by Lawyer Antonio Latella, Prior of the Confraternity of Maria Santissima Annunziata di Pellegrina of Bagnara Calabra, in the ceremony for the crowning of the Holy Image of the Most Holy Virgin of the Annunciation.

On September 18, 2024, at the Prefecture of Reggio Calabria, Vice Delegate for Calabria Knight Grand Cross Aurelio Badolati was received by H.E. the Prefect of Reggio Calabria, Dr. Clara Vaccaro. The Vice Delegate was accompanied by Off. Knight Corrado Savasta; H.E. the Prefect was assisted by Vice Prefect Dr. Antonia Surace. During the meeting, Dr. Badolati handed the Prefect an invitation for the ceremony of the sacred Investiture of the Constantinian Knights, which will be held at the Cathedral of Reggio Calabria on October 12, and will be preceded the evening before by a concert of the Royal Philharmonic Academy of Gerace at the Archeological Museum of Reggio Calabria. The Prefect gladly assured her participation if she will be at the location on the days indicated. On the occasion, the Vice Delegate explained in detail to His Excellency the purposes and charitable activities of the Order, aimed especially at alleviating the conditions of discomfort of the socially vulnerable. At the end of the meeting, Dr. Badolati gifted the Prefect, who gladly accepted, with the Order’s crest and several volumes illustrating the humanitarian activities carried out in recent years by the Delegation.
AUSTRIA: AWARDING OF THE DIPLOMA TO THE EPISCOPAL VICAR SCHÖDER

Vienna, 24th June, 2024 – During a private ceremony held at Palazzo Esterhazy, the EpiscoPal Vicar Erich Schöder was given his Diploma of Knight Officer of Ecclesiastical Grace by the Austria Prior, Bishop H.E. Alois Schwarz and the Delegate Vicar Lawyer Dr. Alexander Rudolf Babinek, who also warmly congratulated him on behalf of the Knights of Piacenza and the entire Delegation.
Moreover, on the same occasion, the Episcopal Vicar was informed of his nomination as Chaplain of the Austria Delegation.
Then, during a private dinner, they announced the future activities of the Delegation.

EMILIA ROMAGNA: JULY 2024 DONATION

Ferrara, 4th July, 2024 – Before the summer break, the Order made a donation to the voluntary association “Servizio Accoglienza alla Vita” – SAV of Ferrara, which gives assistance to mothers and families in need. The voluntary Walter Chessa, along with Knight Davide Zamboni and the Representative Knight of Ecclesiastical Grace Father Davide Benini, delivered canned and long-term foods, clothes and baby accessories collected in the previous weeks. During the delivery, the SAV volunteers were also present, and the Delegation thanks them for their welcome and commitment in favor of those most in need.
